Are you a Contractor or Home Owner considering doing renovations, or construction near your trees? Before you do anything read the following information to help prevent damages and diseases due to construction and poor yard care. Trees are susceptible to injury and diseases when the root system in the surrounding area is disturbed. (With some trees this could be a 100 ft. radius). Things that may create damages and disease include but are not limited to, building, trenching, digging, filling or compacting the root zone area of the tree can be fatal. However, we can work with you or your contractor to pre-treat the surrounding area and rope off a set perimeter to ensure the survivability of your tree. It is imperative for this to be done prior to any construction or work being done, which includes demolition.

What is an Arborist?
An arborist, tree surgeon, or (less commonly) arboriculturist, is a professional in the practice of arboriculture, which is the cultivation, management, and study of individual trees, shrubs, vines, and other perennial woody plants. Certified Arborists may also plan, consult, write reports and give legal testimony. While some aspects of this work are done on the ground or in an office, much of it is done by arborists who perform tree services and who climb the trees with ropes, harnesses and other equipment.
What is Organic Landscaping?
Organic landscaping is the creation and maintenance of naturally sustaining systems whereby soil and plant nutrition and plant health are the byproducts of a chemical free management program based on a system's approach. Organic landscaping should be focused on continuing to improve soil health. We embrace the concept that a healthy, biologically active soil is fundamental to plant nutrition.
Tree-planting is the process of transplanting tree seedlings, generally for forestry, land reclamation, or landscaping purpose. It differs from the transplantation of larger trees in arboriculture, and from the lower cost but slower and less reliable distribution of tree seeds. Trees contribute to their environment over long periods of time by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. Tree planting is carried out in many different parts of the world, and strategies may differ widely across the country and regions and among individual companies.
Tree trimming is the application of arboricultural methods like pruning, trimming, and felling/thinning in built environments. Road verge, greenways, backyard and park woody vegetation are at the center of attention for the tree care industry. Landscape architecture and urban forestry also set high demands on professional tree trimming. High safety standards against the dangers of tree trimming have helped the industry evolve.
